Driven piles are installed by dropping a hammer weight onto a pre-formed pile. Accubeam Piling & Underpinning offer a bottom driven steel cased piling system, with additional sections of casings welded on as required. Reinforcement steel and concrete is then placed in the casing to provide a solid foundation to the overlying structure. Driven piles are particularly appropriate where soft or water logged soils can cause subsidence or damage to structures due to ground movement.
